Editorial- Perspectives in Social Inquiry: An Inaugural Reflection 

Abstract

An inaugural collection of scholarship on education, justice, constitutional rights, history, geopolitics, and political thought, this issue of International Journal of Discourse in Social Science Research (IJDSSR) reflects the broad scope and continuing relevance of contemporary social science research.

It is with great pleasure and a deep sense of responsibility that we present the first issue- Discourses in Social Inquiry. The launch of a journal is more than the beginning of a publication cycle; it is the creation of an academic platform dedicated to quality research, critical discussion, and the advancement of knowledge across disciplines. In a time marked by rapid social change, technological developments, environmental concerns, and shifting global politics, the need for thoughtful and evidence-based inquiry is greater than ever.

This first issue reflects the vision that will guide the journal in the years ahead. We aim to provide an interdisciplinary space where scholars, practitioners, policy thinkers, and young researchers can engage with important questions related to society, governance, education, history, law, defence,  and economic affairs. The articles included in this volume show the value of such engagement and the continuing importance of social science research.
